Road Accident Fund (RAF) Claims

The RAF Claim Process
- Initial Consultation – We assess the accident and advise whether you have a valid claim.
- Medical & Expert Reports – We coordinate the required medico-legal assessments (orthopaedic surgeons, occupational therapists, actuaries, etc.) to substantiate your claim.
- Lodgement – The claim is formally submitted to the RAF within the prescribed time limits.
- Negotiation or Trial – Many matters settle, but if necessary we pursue the claim through to trial in the High Court.
- Payment of Compensation – Once resolved, the RAF pays compensation directly.
